Description

The Road Accident Fund in Johannesburg is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a three-year fixed-term contract. The role involves providing administrative support to the Medical Management Department, including compliance administration, office coordination, meeting support, and document and records management. The ideal candidate should have a Matric or Grade 12 certificate and relevant 1 year of experience in administrative or similar environments. The role is based on employment equity principles and requires security vetting and foreign qualification evaluation by the South African Qualification Authority.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in making follow-ups on outstanding matters
  • Ensure all requests are handled and responded to within set timelines
  • Assist in ensuring the availability of stationery within the department
  • Validate and verify information and documents submitted for accurate capturing and further handling
  • Ensure the systems/registers used are kept up to date
  • Check for duplicate documents, requests and queries and report on them

Qualifications

  • Matric or Grade 12 certificate
  • Relevant 1 years’ experience in Administrative or similar environment
